| Note: This Tramezza Collection model, the "Gatsby," was first made available to celebrities/professional athletes in (1996) prior to being released to the general public. The pairs commisioned for celebrities/professional athletes include the words "Made Expressly For ______Celebrity's/Athletes Name_______" on the insole and also will always have a serial number beginning with the letters "KD." Later on in 1996 and into 1997, the model was released to the general public. If it is a common general public version of the shoe, the serial number will begin with "TD." This was one of Ferragamo's earliest Tramezza models and was their way of advertising the eliteness of it's high end hand made goodyear welted construction. This exclusive "made for celebrity/athlete" option was also available on the other early Tramezza models by Ferragamo in 1996 and 1997. These include the "Gerald," "Gold," "Grafton," and "General," all of which are viewable in our museum. |
